The Public Policy Committee will make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding legislative initiatives that The Chamber will engage in on the local, state and federal levels. The committee will prepare policy statements on issues affecting the business community. The committee will also develop strategies for implementing the policies once they are adopted by the Board. Committee members will also help to identify and recruit new members for the Chamber.

Future’s Committee

The Futures Committee is responsible for identifying and developing new revenue streams for The Chamber.  Once identified, these opportunities will be sent to the appropriate committees for implementation. Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is responsible for assisting in the development of the Annual Budget.  In addition, the committee will monitor income and expenditures and will, in conjunction with the President, make appropriate recommendations to the Board of Directors for Budget adjustments.  Committee members will also help to identify and recruit new members for the Chamber.

Business Development Committee

The Business Development Committee is responsible for identifying and managing opportunities for members to enhance and expand their own business prospects. Includes Welcome Signs, web-based advertising, webinars, etc. The committee will consider The Chamber brand and ways to enhance it and review The Chamber’s communications practices. Committee members will also help to identify and recruit new members for the Chamber.
